Hi, I’m Christian Dunn — a communicator, connector, and student leader passionate about building community, championing equity, and creating moments that matter.
I’m currently pursuing a B.A.A. in Communications and Leadership at Central Michigan University, where I’ve discovered purpose in roles that empower me to lead with empathy and drive meaningful change. Whether serving as Speaker of the House and Press Secretary in Student Government or directing CMU’s International Film Festival, I’ve worked to bring people together through inclusive programming, compelling storytelling, and student-centered advocacy.
My approach to leadership is action-oriented. It’s about showing up — not just with a title, but with a commitment to serve. I’ve led cornerstone campus traditions like Homecoming and Sibs & Kids Weekend, championed efforts around basic needs and accessible housing, and advocated for systems where student voices are genuinely valued.
At the heart of everything I do is connection — between people, ideas, and institutions. Whether I’m mentoring peers, planning an event, or shaping policy, I lead with intention and heart. I believe real progress happens when we create spaces that welcome discomfort, encourage growth, and center the lived experiences of others.
Higher education transformed my life far beyond the classroom, and I’m passionate about helping others experience that same sense of belonging and possibility. I aim to bring energy, authenticity, and impact into every space I enter — because leadership isn’t about being in charge; it’s about lifting others up.
If you care about student leadership, campus life, or reimagining higher ed to be more human and inclusive, let’s connect. I’m always open to meaningful conversations, new ideas, and bold collaborations.
