Hi, I’m Christian Dunn — a communicator, connector, and student leader passionate about building community, championing equity, and creating moments that matter.
I’m pursuing my B.A.A. in Communications and Leadership at Central Michigan University, where I’ve found purpose in roles that allow me to lead with empathy and drive change from the ground up. From serving as Speaker of the House and Press Secretary in Student Government to directing CMU’s International Film Festival, I’ve had the chance to bring people together through powerful storytelling, inclusive programming, and student-driven advocacy.
My approach to leadership is rooted in showing up, not just in title, but in action. I’ve coordinated cornerstone campus traditions like Homecoming and Sibs & Kids Weekend, led campaigns to support accessible housing and basic needs, and worked to ensure student voices are not only heard but taken seriously. I believe in creating spaces that welcome discomfort, inspire growth, and center the lived experiences of others.
Everything I do is about connection — between people, ideas, and systems. Whether planning an event, mentoring peers, or helping shape policy, I lead with the belief that progress happens when we listen with intention and lead with heart. I’m especially passionate about working in higher education because I’ve seen firsthand how transformational college can be — not just in the classroom, but in the communities we build outside of it.
I strive to bring energy, authenticity, and impact to my work. I’m driven by the idea that leadership is less about being in charge and more about creating opportunities for others to grow, speak up, and step into their power.
If you’re passionate about student leadership, campus life, or making higher education more human and inclusive, let’s connect. I’m always open to collaboration, conversation, and ideas that challenge the norm.
Let’s connect on LinkedIn and create something meaningful together!
